Abstract Background Cardiac rehabilitation (CR) is a multidisciplinary, comprehensive, exercise-based intervention strongly recommended by current guidelines to improve symptoms and quality of life reduce cardiovascular adverse outcomes, mainly in patients with coronary artery disease heart failure.
